Azure architecture, SaaS/PaaS platforms, modernisation and reliable cloud operations.
Founder & CTO · Melbourne, Australia
Founder, CTO and Azure cloud architect with more than 20 years of experience building SaaS products, cloud platforms and technology businesses. Currently developing KloudStack—an AI-native platform that uses intelligent agents to help operate, optimise and manage cloud infrastructure.
About
I help organisations turn complex technology challenges into practical platforms, products and roadmaps. My work spans concept development, architecture, delivery leadership, application modernisation and building high-performing engineering teams.
Azure architecture, SaaS/PaaS platforms, modernisation and reliable cloud operations.
Product strategy, discovery, market fit, prototyping and paths from MVP to scale.
Clear roadmaps and investment decisions grounded in commercial outcomes and delivery reality.
Designing agent-based systems that combine AI reasoning, cloud telemetry, automation and human approval. Current work includes agent orchestration, durable background workflows, infrastructure operations, model integration and governed access to cloud environments.
Current focus
My current work focuses on making cloud platforms increasingly self-managing. This brings together Azure architecture, platform engineering, observability, automation and AI agents that can identify operational issues, recommend actions and safely carry out approved changes.
Designing specialised agents for cloud operations, deployment, diagnostics, optimisation and customer support.
Building asynchronous workflows using containerised workers, queues, managed messaging, retries and durable task execution.
Bringing together platform telemetry, logs, cost information and operational context so agents can make evidence-based decisions.
Creating approval boundaries, access controls, audit trails and safeguards for agent-initiated infrastructure changes.

Current venture
Building an AI-native operational control plane for cloud infrastructure.
KloudStack is being developed to help organisations deploy, operate and optimise cloud platforms through intelligent agents guided by human insight. The goal is to move beyond traditional dashboards and manual cloud management toward platforms that can understand their own operational state, identify problems and coordinate safe corrective actions.
The platform brings together cloud automation, observability, infrastructure context and AI reasoning. Agents are being designed to assist with deployment, health monitoring, incident investigation, performance optimisation, security review and cost management.
Exploring agent runtimes built around Azure Container Apps, containerised workers, durable messaging and managed state. The architecture supports scheduled and event-driven work, retries, dead-letter handling and long-running operational tasks.
Designing and operating production Azure environments using App Service, Azure Container Apps, Front Door, WAF, private networking, managed databases, storage, Redis, Service Bus, Application Insights and Log Analytics.
Developing ways for agents to reason over telemetry, deployment state, application health, security events and cloud costs—while keeping consequential infrastructure actions visible, governed and auditable.
